Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Procurement Outreach Program (PTAC, POP*)
The Nevada PTAC, POP*, which is under the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), provides FREE procurement technical assistance to eligible Nevada for-profit businesses, especially small businesses, in their pursuit of local, state, and federal government contracting, subcontracting, and other select opportunities, inside and outside of Nevada. Many businesses consider the idea of selling their services and/or products to the government much too complicated and overwhelming. The Nevada PTAC, POP* helps simplify the process and cut through the red tape, connecting Nevada businesses with lucrative opportunities.

Western Nevada College (WNC)

Your opportunity to earn one of the industry-recognized credentials that Nevada employers want from their new hires. WNC has served the region for nearly fifty years and is home to the only International Mechatronics Certificate Program in the Western U.S.  A public community college, its main campus is in Carson City with satellite campuses in Fallon and Minden.
