NNDA Annual State of the Counties Event 2026 - Northern Nevada Counties Showcase Continued Growth and Regional Development
The Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA)hosted its annual State of the Counties event for 2026, highlighting significant achievements across Douglas, Lyon, Carson City, Storey, and Mineral counties in economic development, infrastructure improvements, and fiscal responsibility. More than 300 participants and 267 sponsors attended this informative event. County managers from across the region presentedcomprehensive updates on their jurisdictions' progress, demonstrating continuedpopulation stability, robust fiscal management, and strategic investments incommunity infrastructure. The State of the Counties presentations highlighted the value of regionalcooperation on shared challenges and opportunities. Counties are partnering ontransportation planning, economic development, and resource managementinitiatives.
