NNDA Pioneer Awards 2017

While our Silver State is working diligently to diversify its economy, I am proud to report that the four-county Sierra Region has already accomplished the diversification of its own economic ecosystem.  NNDA and its investor partners continue the never-ending work to strengthen and broaden that ecosystem, and make it more prosperous and resilient for Sierra Region communities and residents.

NNDA is proud to host the Annual Pioneer Awards which have become a showcase for our region’s economic diversification.  The categories for this year’s awards have been updated to better highlight the region’s innovations and successes.  For example, since manufacturing is one of the top five industries in the region and statewide, the new Silver Forge Award recognizes the Manufacturer of the Year.  Also, each Sierra Region county will present a Silver State Award to the county’s high school student of the year.
